Sneak Peek...

It's about time for another little sneak peek of what August's kit "Vibe" has in store! I am excited to share some of the fun. This kit is full of bold colors and patterns. It's edgy and well, I think you'll see from the pictures just how much can be done with a kit like this!

Did I mention that there is a vintage record in everyones kit? I have been waiting it seems like forever to include them in a kit! They are ALL different, but coordinate with the patterned papers really well. You are also getting that cute vintage "hello my name is..." badge. I also collected some antique sheet music and made tags out of it. You are getting 3 tags, in different sizes and shapes. Plus an acrylic tag album by Page Frame Designs. (Pictured in my last sneak peek.) This kit is loaded with inspiration, so you'll want to be sure to check back on the 1st for the big reveal!! The possibilities are endless with this kit! And for only $29.50 as a one time purchase and just $27.50 as your subscription rate...it's a steal!

Look for a newsletter this week with more sneak peeks in your inbox!! (If you don't receive it for some reason, just check back here...I will post it on the blog also!) Have a great day!

Happy day!

Well, just when I least expect it...I get a package from my good friend Amy who lives way too far away from me!! I just had to share the goodness with you! This is the information booklet from the craft fair.
She went to this particular craft fair in San Francisco and found the cutest little present for me. This would be something cute to make people as gifts. You can wear it around your head (oviously) or as a belt. So thank you Amy for making my day! You are one of the most thoughtful people I have ever met!
The little information book was SO cute! It had this little owl for you to cut out and use and a page for notes that would be great for journaling on a layout!

But the best part of all...they are having one in Chicago in September. (If you live in the area you should definitely check it out.) You KNOW I will be there. I am so excited!! So thanks Amy for the sweet present! And for that great little book! It is so cute!
Have a fabulous day!

Sweet...

I saw my family off today...the house just feels so empty without 4 kids and 5 adults to occupy it. I miss them already. What a priviledge it was to have all of the "girls" here at once! I wish I had taken a group picture, but there was so much commotion (hats off to any of you who have 4 children!!) We outnumbered the kids by far...and it was still quite a circus. This is my niece and nephew, Halle and Caleb.
It was so fun getting to "know" Caleb. Last time I saw him he was just so little, his BIG personality is fully emerging. He is loving and SO cute, and one of the most intense little people I have ever met. We played lots of peek-a-boo, he is just the right age to think that I am still funny! My kids are waaay past that point. So I acted like a complete dork and he laughed his head off! We had a ball.

My mom did a little photo shoot and took some pictures so that I can update mine on the site. Our property borders the rail road tracks, so we took some next to the stone tressel. We found that someone had painted this heart...how is it possible that I didn't notice that before? I drive through there everyday!?

The last thing is a little video I took of the kids saying goodbye to each other. Halle was crying because she didn't want to leave and so her sweet little brother kept hugging her to cheer her up. It put a smile on her face and then I got the four of them all hugging each other goodbye. So SWEET! I am gonna miss this! (Yea, my first Flip video on the blog!!)

Have a wonderful night!

More CHA...

Yes...there is more! I of course have to post my picture with Ali Edwards...I look a foot shorter than her! So funny! She is just such a nice girl, and we got to chat for a bit. Definitely a highlight for me.

I also took some shots of Tim Holtz's booth. I loved the framed grungeboard, such a great idea. And with them grouped all together they just look so fun. His displays were so great.
Love the giant scissors (Pottery Barn...I recognize them.)

I also took this picture at the Colorbok booth of these cute felt animals. I am loving that elephant! These were not for sale, just a cute display that I had to share. My camera battery finally died. So I will have to borrow Holly's pictures of the last few booths we visited. All in all, it was a great show.

Now I have my family in town for the next few days, so I am having a blast taking them to all of our local favorite spots. The kids are thoroughly enjoying having their cousins around. We took them to Holland's Mercantile (our candy store) and I took some pictures of them with their bags of candy. As Tanner would say "isn't this the best day?" Yes, it was the best day, and I am soaking up all of the family time I can for the next few days.

Oh and one more thing...isn't this just the best sign!??
Have a wonderful day!

Goodness...(lOng post warning!)

It was everywhere!! CHA today was a blast! I took probably WAY too many pictures, but I couldn't help myself. I was loving all of the eye candy!

I was loving the new KI Memories translucent sheets. I couldn't decide which one I liked best!

They had made this cute mini book using another sheet that was really cute.

These were projects that we saw at the Fancy Pants booth.
Cute enough to hang on the wall!
Holly and I must have stood and watched Tim Holtz for at least 20 minutes. He has a great sense of humor, really spiky hair and seems like a really sweet guy. Not to mention he is amazingly talented at what he does!

This is a new line from Cosmo Cricket called "Mr. Campy." LOvE it!
Another Cosmo Cricket card made from their new line called "Jack's World."

I don't know why I love this elephant so much!? Sorry for the blur!

Their walls were so cute at he Cosmo Cricket booth, with enlarged images from their new lines.
I am in love with the stamps with the alligator and teddy bear! (From Jack's World.)

Crate Paper had some seriously cute things. I loved their line with squirrels!
These pages look so much better in person, and the lighting is so OFF in them.
I just love Jenni Bowlin. Her booth was wonderful. I felt like I was at her house!

A random layout I liked a LOT!
Sassafras Lass blew me away again. I am loving all of their new lines. Here are a few layouts they had at their booth!

This is the best window display I have EVER seen at a show! I was loving it!!
Some cute Hambly projects! LOVE those birdcages!

This was a shadow box, very cool.
And who else...but Heidi Swapp. Cute as ever! Her samples always look fantastic in person!

Had to get a shot with her...of course!
Love this layout!
And last, but not least, Holly and I at the concert tonight. We had fun. Got lost and found ourselves in Indiana on the way home. (I might add that we didn't get lost until I gave Holly the job of reading me the directions!! LOL> she is going to kill me for telling you that!) But it was a beautiful night for an outdoor concert, and besides the girl screaming her head off behind us, actually quite enjoyable. (She kept screaming about how lucky Jennifer Anniston was: I guess to be dating John Mayer?)
Okay it is WaaaaaYYY past my bedtime, but I just wanted to get a post out to all of you who can't wait to see what's new from CHA. (Oh and I am going to meet Ali Edwards tomorrow. So I'll share pictures of that then!) Good night!
