Are there 2 better words than those for a Friday? Both are things I LOVE to do! So as CHA in Orlando is slowly creeping up on me...I am working overtime to get everything in place before the big event! I am sending out the newsletter this afternoon/eveningish (lol) so be checking your inbox for that! I thought I would share a little sneak of the patterned papers in our upcoming August kit. It's full of Prima, Crate Paper, KI Memories, Fancy Pants, Cosmo Cricket, and more! I really love this kit...and think it would work really well for some back-to-school layouts! (I cannot believe it's almost time for that again!) And if you're like me, you have already taken about 4,000 photos this summer! And definitely need some of the latest and greatest to make projects that shine!
I am ever so happy to announce another giveaway! One lucky reader will receive this super stylish and cute handbag by AMM. It goes along with the whole black/white trend that is sweeping the fashion industry. I think this tote is perfect for a summery day...and the fact that you can personalize it with your own sweet photos is just an added bonus!
To enter the giveaway...all you need to do is post a comment here telling me what your favorite thing has been this summer. Easy enough right? Good. I will post the winner on Monday! Have a super Friday!

Hi Heidi! I love your creativity, your inspiration and your expression of your faith. My favorite thing this summer is going to the park to sit and enjoy the breeze, the company of family, and see beauty everywhere I look. Thanks for wonderful chance to win. Blessings, Bonnie
My favorite thing this summer has been watching my little boy picking blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries to his hearts content. So SWEET!
My favorite thing of the summer has been watching my kids play on the water slide in the back yard. They have so much fun it just makes me smile!
My favorite thing this summer has been watching my almost two year old discover the world around her. From gardening with mommy, to swimming with daddy, to hiking in the High Sierras, it has been a treat to watch her discover and grow! I wouldn't miss this time for the world!
I am already looking forward to getting that August kit...great stuff in it! My favorite thing this summer has been watching Olivia enjoy so many new things. She especially LOVED the fireworks. It is so fun to see the wonder and excitement in her little eyes.
Hi, Heidi! Cannot wait to see what next month's kit will look like! My favorite thing about summer is probably the longer days.
Oooo! What yummy papers! All my faves!
One of my fave things that has happened this summer is realizing how big my boys have grown since last year! They both needed bigger bikes this year - my 5yo has a "big boy" bike (with training wheels) now ;)
Thanks for a wonderful chance to win such a beautiful bag :*)
TGIF!
I don't need to be entered into the drawing...just wanted to say that the kit looks so fun!! :)
My favorite thing this summer has been going to all my sons baseball games. His team has had a great season and it's been fun hanging out with all the parents.
My favorite thing about this summer has been watching my son play baseball. His team is doing very well and it's been fun just hanging out with the parents at all these games.
My favorite thing of the summer so far I think would be just being able to finally get out in the yard & play. We've filled the pool, had water balloon fights & planted all sorts of new flowers. Thanks for the chance to win!
Hi Heidi! Here, in Brazil, it's winter, but this morning I just said to my brother I miss summer time.
My favorite thing this summer has been laughing a lot -- and growing pumpkins - they are so wild and out of control.
How can you pick one thing about summer? I'm going to go with the first thing that comes to mind - tan lines. And they are the sweetest on my little boys. Awww. And on the kit, can I say I can't wait to see the new designers in action this month? Yeah!
Thanks for the sneak peek :)
My favorite thing this summer has been spending time with my hubby and now 2 yr old son on a road trip to Monterey Bay. It was beautiful and we had sooo much fun!!

My favorite thing this summer has been spending time with my darling little boys.
Love the peek! My favorite thing this summer has been finally seeing the sun and feeling the warmth after the coldest, darkest June I can remember. :)
Hi there! Love the upcoming kit...super fun papers. My favorite thing this summer is sitting on our newly poured back patio while my two-year-old plays in his splash pool, my eight-year-old shoots hoops, and my husband grills burgers and sausage. A true laid back summer.
My favortie thing this summer has been humming birds. I have this little feeder outside my window. And everyday they come and place their little feet on the perches to enjoy their meal. I am so fond of them because, when I am feeling a little blue, God always sends one of them little birds for me to see. And it is so amazing how the thought of such a wonderful blessing brightens my day and makes all those blues just melt away.
That bag is so cute!! My favorite thing this summer is baby feet! My little girl isn't walking yet, so we have just let her go barefoot all summer. I love looking at those cute little toes.
My favorite thing about summer is spending time with my family at the lake and on the tennis courts!
My favorite thing about summer has been watching my four-year old son play t-ball. Every game is full of suspense, hilarity, absolute determination, and chasing butterflies in the outfield. Inevitably, some little Albert Puhols wannabe cutie will slide into home every game, to thunderous applause. Three cheers for summer!
After a busy year of homeschooling, I have been enjoying wearing just my Mom hat, spending lazy days at the pool, attending church camp, and visiting a favorite ice cream shop with my son and daughter. I have also been delighted to find the Freehand Scraps site which has inspired me to design my own scrapbook work space in my basement, which has become my creative outlet. I look forward to creating with the August Freehand Scraps kit when it becomes available.

My favorite thing about this summer has been all of fun trips my husband and I have taken. We booked them all before I got pregnant but it worked out perfect somehow!
Summer is a free ticket to sleep in a bit more because of the laid back feeling it gives with out the busy mornings of getting kiddos off to school. Although this summer is especially special to me as my son just got married last weekend at the most perfect outdoor spot for him and his wife...the river. I'll have alot to scrap about this fall.
